About BidPip

BidPip was founded in Holden, Massachusetts by Kyle Judson to help small New England contractors find public bids, including the town-level bids that are easy to miss.

Why it exists

Public work in New England is posted in a lot of places: SAM.gov for federal jobs, a different bid board in each state, and hundreds of city and town websites. Checking them one by one takes time a small shop doesn't have. BidPip checks them every weekday and emails you only the bids that fit your trade and the area you work in.

What we cover

All six New England states: federal bids from SAM.gov; the state bid boards for Massachusetts (COMMBUYS), Connecticut (CTsource), Rhode Island (Ocean State Procures, plus RIVIP for towns and quasi-public agencies) and Vermont; and the bid pages of 276 cities and towns we check directly. New Hampshire's and Maine's state bid sites block automated access, so for those states we cover federal and town bids for now. Today that adds up to 1,423 open bids from 483 agencies and towns.

How we work

  • Public sources only, with a direct link to the issuing agency for every bid.
  • Your filters, not ours: trades, keywords, states, counties, towns or miles from your shop.
  • Plain pricing on the pricing page, a 14-day free trial, and a full refund within 14 days of any charge.
  • We don't sell or share your information (privacy policy).

Why BidPip versus the competition

  • Deep in New England, not spread thin. Versus the competition, BidPip goes deep in six states instead of thin across the whole country: SAM.gov federal bids, the state bid boards for Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont, and 276 city and town bid pages we check directly, where a lot of small municipal jobs get posted. New Hampshire and Maine state boards are not included yet.
  • Filters built for your trade. 25 trade categories (roofing, paving, HVAC, electrical and more), optional keyword alerts, and your area down to specific towns, counties or a radius around your shop. You get the bids that fit, not a pile to dig through.
  • See it before you pay. Browse every open bid free, look at a sample alert email built from real bids, and your welcome email lists your top matching open bids on day one.
  • A simple, published price. $29/month or $290/year for all six New England states. Month-to-month, no sales call, a 14-day free trial, and a full refund within 14 days of any charge.
  • An honest local business. Founded in Holden, Massachusetts. Questions go to [email protected] and a real mailing address is on every email. No made-up reviews and no promises about features that don't exist yet.
  • Free to try, two ways. Start the 14-day trial, or get the free weekly email: the top 5 open bids for your trade and state every Monday, no card.

Need bids from all over the country? A broad national bid board may fit you better. BidPip is for New England contractors who want the right local jobs in their inbox. See the side-by-side.
